The best Cyber Monday gaming deals on games, PC accessories, and more

UPDATE: Nov. 28, 2022, 3:10 p.m. EST This list has been updated to reflect pricing and availability for the best Cyber Monday gaming deals.

  • BEST PLAYSTATION DEAL: The Last of Us Part I is a full, ground-up remake of the critically acclaimed game of the same name, and the best way to experience the game for newcomers — $49.99 $69.99 (save $20)

  • BEST XBOX DEAL: Elden Ring is considered by many to be 2022's game of the year from Dark Souls developer FromSoftware — $35 $59.99 (save $24.99)

  • BEST PC DEAL: The Samsung Odyssey G5 is a fantastic place to start for those who want to try a curved monitor — $299.99 $379.99 (save $80)

Cyber Monday is always good for gaming deals, and this year is already shaping up to be par for the course. (And perhaps even better if we see a lot of restocks on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X?)

But even if you end up unable to score a next-gen console this time around due to bots and supply chain scaries, there are still plenty of gaming deals to be excited about.

Expect to see a lot of sales on individual games, console bundles (there were a bunch of great Nintendo Switch deals in 2021), and accessories for both consoles and PC. As for those next-gen consoles, we'll keep an eye out and make sure you have the most updated information on restocks. Best Buy and Amazon have been especially reliable in the restock department recently, so we expect to see an announcement from them at some point. If you're looking to snag a new Switch OLED model during your shopping spree, you may have a bit more luck: Pretty much all the big retailers had stock throughout Cyber Weekend.

Check out our favorite Cyber Monday gaming deals below.

Please note: All newly added deals have been marked with a . Anything with a strikeout was either sold out or no longer available at the sale price as of this writing, but check back often — we're updating this page constantly.

Why we like it

The Last of Us Part I didn't necessarily need to happen, but we're happy it did. The original game is a critically acclaimed masterpiece — and is still arguably in great shape for how long ago it was released — but who are we to say "no" to a ground-up remake of one of the all-time greats, specifically for the PlayStation 5? If you haven't already played The Last of Us, this is unquestionably the best way to experience it for the first time.

If you've ever enjoyed a FromSoftware game (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro), Elden Ring is probably going to be your favorite one. Explore The Lands Between as your created character (called a "Tarnished"), discovering hidden areas, battling dangerous creatures, and working towards the ultimate goal of repairing the shattered Elden Ring and becoming the new Elden Lord. It's a grand adventure, and one you shouldn't miss out on in 2022.

Fans of multiplayer and party games should have Splatoon 3 in their library. This four-on-four unconventional shooter pits two teams against each other (the Inklings and Octolings) and tasks them with covering the map in as much paint as possible before the timer runs out. In the end, whichever team has painted the most turf will emerge victorious.

Curved gaming monitors may not seem like game-changers right away, but they certainly can be. Samsung's curved 100R panel attempts to replicate the curvature of the human eye to cut down on strain and increase immersion, which just makes playing feel better. The monitor also features a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response times, AMD FreeSync Premium support, WQHD resolution, and HDR10 compatibility.

Instagram accidentally reinstated Pornhub’s banned account

After years of on-and-off temporary suspensions, Instagram permanently banned Pornhub’s account in September. Then, for a short period of time this weekend, the account was reinstated. By Tuesday, it was permanently banned again. “This was done in error,” an Instagram spokesperson told TechCrunch. “As we’ve said previously, we permanently disabled this Instagram account for repeatedly violating our policies.” Instagram’s content guidelines prohibit  nudity and sexual solicitation . A Pornhub spokesperson told TechCrunch, though, that they believe the adult streaming platform’s account did not violate any guidelines. Instagram has not commented on the exact reasoning for the ban, or which policies the account violated. It’s worrying from a moderation perspective if a permanently banned Instagram account can accidentally get switched back on. Pornhub told TechCrunch that its account even received a notice from Instagram, stating that its ban had been a mistake (that message itse...

California Gov. Newsom vetoes bill SB 1047 that aims to prevent AI disasters

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has vetoed bill SB 1047, which aims to prevent bad actors from using AI to cause "critical harm" to humans. The California state assembly passed the legislation by a margin of 41-9 on August 28, but several organizations including the Chamber of Commerce had urged Newsom to veto the bill . In his veto message on Sept. 29, Newsom said the bill is "well-intentioned" but "does not take into account whether an Al system is deployed in high-risk environments, involves critical decision-making or the use of sensitive data. Instead, the bill applies stringent standards to even the most basic functions - so long as a large system deploys it."  SB 1047 would have made the developers of AI models liable for adopting safety protocols that would stop catastrophic uses of their technology. That includes preventive measures such as testing and outside risk assessment, as well as an "emergency stop" that would completely shut down...

Watch Aidy Bryant *completely* lose it as 'SNL' roasts political pundits

On Saturday Night Live , there are breaks and then there's whatever happened here. The Season 45 premiere featured a sketch that was meant to expose the empty noisemaking of political punditry on TV. But part of the joke involved a series of quick costume changes, and some weirdness during one of those switches led to a complete and total breakdown. Aidy Bryant, the segment's host, couldn't take it. She manages to keep it together until what appears to be an accidental wide shot exposes some of the magic as we see a woman who's probably a member of the SNL wardrobe crew fiddling with Aidy's costume.
