Bitcoin, the red-hot digital coin, was trading down 3.8% Thursday morning.  The coin has been under pressure as anxiety mounts over a number of outages at leading crypto-exchanges. Bitcoin is under pressure a day after a wild trading session for the scorching-hot digital currency.  Bitcoin, which pushed past $11,000 on Wednesday, was trading down 3.8% Thursday morning at $9,465 a coin, according to Markets Insider data. On Wednesday, the coin shed more than $1,000 in a couple of hours as anxiety mounted over a number of outages at leading cryptocurrency exchanges.  Users of Coinbase's professional trading platform, and Bitstamp, a bitcoin exchange based in Luxembourg, reported slow performance and outages . Uh-oh, Apple.  After fixing that embarrassing macOS High Sierra bug that let anyone create a root account on a Mac without a root password, Apple introduced a new bug, albeit one far more benign.  The security update 2017-001, described here , indeed fixed the nasty vulnerability in High Sierra 10.13 and 10.13.1, but it completely messed up file sharing for some users.  SEE ALSO: MacOS High Sierra vulnerability was publicly disclosed in an Apple forum weeks ago Luckily, the new bug doesn't require a patch. Following is a transcript of the video. What do fire hydrant colors mean? Certain colors are meant for different types of fires. Each color represents a different GPM or Gallons Per Minute. Higher GPMs are meant for larger fires. Here are the 4 most popular colors, and the biggest fires they can extinguish. To calculate the GPM necessary for the size of a fire, you can take the volume of the fire and divide it by 100. So, if you have a two-story house that is 20 feet tall, 50 feet long, and 50 feet wide, then you're going to need ([20*50*50]/100=500) 500 GPM.  Red: 500 GPM or less, for a 2-story house that's 50 ft by 50 ft and 20 ft tall. Orange: 500-1,000 GPM, for a 4-story house that's 50 ft by 50 ft and 40 ft tall. Green: 1000-1500 GPM, for a 4-story house that's 61 by 61 and 40 ft tall
